Charles is a generally registered psychologist who works with children aged 8 and above, adolescents and adults. He has a particular interest in supporting adolescents and enjoys creating a comfortable and engaging environment where young people feel understood.


Charles has experience working across a range of settings, including NDIS services, Employee Assistance Programs, CTP services, fitness-for-work assessments and critical incident responses. He has also previously worked as a mental health support worker, giving him a broad understanding of the practical and emotional challenges clients may experience in their everyday lives.


Charles takes a flexible and holistic approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs, circumstances and goals. He draws upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. Where relevant, Charles also considers broader factors that can influence wellbeing, including sleep, physical activity, nutrition, relationships and social connection.


Charles can deliver psychological sessions in both English and Tagalog. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor and nature-based activities, including diving, hiking, camping and spending time at the beach. He also enjoys playing video games.


Qualifications:

Charles has completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced. He holds general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and is a SIRA-approved practitioner.
