Ivanka is an experienced psychologist who has worked across a variety of settings, including private practice, non-government organisations, government services, schools, youth centres and parole services. She has experience supporting adolescents and adults with a broad range of mental health and life concerns, with particular interests in trauma-related presentations, personality disorders, anxiety disorders and panic disorder.


Ivanka works collaboratively with her clients to understand the concerns bringing them to therapy, identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies to support positive change. She tailors sessions to each client’s individual needs and encourages clients to participate at their own pace, ask questions and share feedback throughout therapy. Ivanka aims to provide an environment where clients feel heard, respected, supported and less alone as they work towards their goals. Ivanka accepts bookings for adolescents aged 13+ and adults of all ages.


Ivanka utilises evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), graded exposure therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Therapy.


Qualifications:

Ivanka has completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours. She holds general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a SIRA-approved practitioner.
